Horizons community grants closing soon
Time is running out to submit applications for Horizons Regional Council’s community grants programme. The programme is aimed at supporting community groups undertaking projects which benefit the region and its environment.
Community groups, schools, early childhood centres and iwi/hapu groups are all eligible to apply for a grant from the $20,000 pool which will be awarded to community-led projects that enhance the region or encourage more people to engage with the natural environment.
Further information and application forms are available from Horizon Regional Council offices or online www.horizons.govt.nz . Groups have until 5pm Friday September 27 to get their applications in.
