Hi All,
Today at 3pm, the TrustPower TECT rescue helicopter was called to Whangamata where a 15 year old male collided with a player whilst playing softball. The collision  resulted in serious abdominal injuries that required immediate medical care at Waikato hospital. St John paramedics treated the patient at the scene before being flown.
