Connex brings fast paced sport to Taita and Naenae

Connex, the popular free sport and recreation programme for 16 to 20 year olds, is back. During September and October they have three new sport competitions.

Connex is local to Naenae and Taita and will be delivering sport to the doorsteps of young people in the North-East.

It’s all about getting young people active and positively engaged with fun sport, music and recreation in an informal and relaxed setting.

The programme gives young people a chance to participate with friends, connect with sport providers, and increase their confidence and self esteem. Connex encourages safe competition and helps young people build a sense of pride in their local communities.
