Keep NZ Beautiful Clean up week
Keep Dunedin Beautiful and the DCC are pleased to be able to make it easy for residents once again to clean up their favourite patch.
From 14 - 27 September, residents are invited to clean litter from their chosen area using specially marked bags which can be placed at kerbside for collection with the usual DCC bags.
Last year, 726 bags were filled by 807 people who worked as individuals and as groups as well as many schools.
Keep Dunedin Beautiful Co-ordinator Darlene Thomson says, “Already we have past recipients registering for this year. Pride in our environment is definitely alive and well - and growing stronger!”
To register your interest and collect your bags and gloves, contact keepdunedinbeautiful@dcc.govt.nz. The information required is:
- Name and email address
- Number of bags/gloves requested
- Area to be cleaned
- Address for collection
- Kerbside collection day
