Disney Infinity coming to New Zealand
For the first time, Disney and Pixar characters will unite in the biggest gaming experience of the year

Disney Interactive is excited to unveilDisney Infinity, a never-before-seen game platform that unlocks the freedom to create stories and play experiences starring beloved
characters from The Walt Disney Company and Pixar Animation Studios, available on all consoles from August 21 2013.
Throughout each story-driven experience, called a ‘Play Set’, players can place physical toy versions of their favourite
Disney and Disney Pixar characters onto the Infinity Base, a device that transports players to a world where they can
interact with the best of Disney on one game platform. Monsters University, Cars, The Incredibles, Pirates of the
Caribbean and The Lone Ranger will be the first ‘Play Sets’ available at launch.
In these worlds, players will solve challenging puzzles, battle enemies and explore iconic locations from Disney and
Disney Pixar. By unlocking unique characters, vehicles, and gadgets from each ‘Play Set’ players can then create their
own gaming world by adding these to a virtual ‘Toy Box.’
Disney Infinity players can access their ‘Toy Box’ to build and customise their personal virtual worlds which can then be shared with
friends and family both online and off.
