Queenstown Film Society’s Short Film Night

The Silver Screen calls for Queenstown Film Society’s Short Film Night

Queenstown Film Society is calling for entries for this year’s Local Short Film Night. Now in its third year this event is set to be a highlight of the 2013 season.

The Local Short Film night will be held on Tuesday 24 September at Dorothy Browns cinema, giving filmmakers the chance to show their work on the big screen!

Any style will be considered, as long films are about the local area or made by local film makers. Films should be no more than 15 minutes in length and may be made by a professional or an amateur. There is no age limit - our youngest ever entrant was just 12.

QFS President, Scott Kennedy is encouraging anyone interested to get filming: “Over the past two years we've had some great work submitted by talented local filmmakers, but we think this could be our biggest year ever. So get shooting and we look forward to seeing what you can do!”

Anyone wanting to submit a film should email info@queenstownfilmsociety.co.nz as soon as possible. The finished film should be submitted by 23 August.

Full guidelines on can be found on the QFS website www.queenstownfilmsociety.co.nz.
