Cold Weather Drives Demand Bottled Gas
Cold Weather Drives Demand Bottled Gas
Winter’s cooler temperatures
continued to push demand for bottled gas last
week.
Vector’s On Gas Bottle Swap team delivered 12,000
bottles nationwide in the week ending Friday 27 June, 70% up
on normal sales, with one single truck in Auckland
delivering 814 bottles last Thursday.
NETWORK SUMMARY for week ending 28 June
2013
ELECTRICITY
There were three car vs
pole incidents this week: one in Papakura which disrupted
power for some hours; another in Howick and a car vs pillar
incident in New Lynn.
Our crews were called out to
isolate the power at eight residential and commercial
premises for the Fire Service over the course of the week
while the weekend saw our crews isolate power at house fires
in Epsom, Mt Wellington and Dairy Flat.
