State Highways in And Out of Fairlie Impassable; Power Cut

ALL STATE HIGHWAYS IN AND OUT OF FAIRLIE ARE CURRENTLY IMPASSABLE.
Roads are currently being cleared to single lane for emergency access only.
All crews busy clearing roads as they are able. Significant resources working both in Fairlie and Tekapo.
Please stay indoors and off the roads unless travel is absolutely essential.
Power outage on Fairlie/Albury line. Netcon team are working to restore it now. They are hoping to have it repaired this afternoon.
Fairlie = 15-20cm
Tekapo = 50cm still falling lightly
Burkes Pass = 1m
Twizel = 25mm
Pukaki = 150mm
Maryburn = 10cm
Wolds = 8cm
Te Puni, Lake Opuha = 45cm
Mt Cook 50cm
SH8 between Fairlie and Twizel - CLOSED
SH 80 between Pukaki and Mt. Cook – CLOSED
Sh 79 between Fairlie and Geraldine – CLOSED
Burkes Pass is CLOSED
Graders are moving out to Clayton Rd and Mt. Nessing Rd at the moment.
