Auckland: Mayor in the Chair in Grey Lynn

19 June 2013

Mayor in the Chair in Grey Lynn

Len Brown will be setting up his chairs in the Grey Lynn Community Centre on Tuesday 25 June.

From midday until 1pm, he is looking forward to locals from Grey Lynn and nearby areas dropping by for a quick chat about their aspirations and concerns for their community and wider Auckland.

These lunchtime events are an opportunity for people to have a brief one-to-one chat directly with their Mayor.

“Auckland is an incredibly diverse place – we have a great diversity of backgrounds, interests and opinions, and these sessions are a great way for me to connect with a wide range of people.”

“Grey Lynn is a very active and engaged community, and it will be great to have a good talk to people on Tuesday.”

Grey Lynn Community Centre is at 510 Richmond Rd, Grey Lynn. Mayor in the Chair will take place in the centre’s Oval Room.
