Matariki, or Maori New Year, is just around the corner, and we are excited to see a design build project by Unitec’s Te Hononga Maori Architecture Studio go up on the Gantry in Silo Park this week in preparation for the celebration. There will be a great line-up of festivities happening on the waterfront throughout Matariki, stay tuned for more info next week
It was confirmed this week that the Global Ocean Race will make a stop-over in Auckland. We are looking forward to seeing these boats and showcasing the Viaduct Harbour as an important event location, in late 2014.

Lady Mateparae visits Garden to Table
With the new Garden to Table site in Wynyard Quarter officially open, the Garden to Table Trust received a visit from Her Excellency Lady Janine Mateparae this week.
