Suffolk Street – Drop In Sessions and Online Comment

The Council is considering a proposal to grant land at 11-21 Suffolk Street, Arrowtown to the Queenstown Lakes Community Housing Trust to develop affordable rental accommodation.

The development would include ten architecturally designed dwellings with two reserved for senior citizens.
All dwellings will be held in perpetuity by the Trust on behalf of the community.

The Queenstown Lakes District Council will be holding drop-in sessions to discuss the Trust’s plans for Suffolk Street in the Supper Room of the Athenaeum Hall on the following dates;

Thursday 30 May 5.00–6.00 pm

Thursday 6 June 3.30–4.30 pm

Monday 10 June 5.00–6.00 pm

Thursday 13 June 5.00–6.00 pm (Chambers)

(13 June location to be held in Council Chambers, 10 Gorge Road)

These sessions will be very informal (pop in at any time over the hour) and will allow individuals to ask questions and give feedback to Council and members of the Trust.
