Transport options to the Warriors game and the Queen Street Golden Mile
Runners and spectators for the Queen Street Golden Mile race and rugby league fans are encouraged to plan their journey to these events on Easter Monday. League fans can catch a rail replacement bus to Penrose Station and then take the short walk to the stadium.

People attending the Queen Street mile on Monday should look at public transport, cycling or walking as an option. If you need to travel by private car, Auckland Transport’s parking buildings will be open.

Road Works
The good weather means Auckland is in the middle of the road works season.

Necessary works will close the Neilson Street/Gloucester Park Road southbound on-ramp to the Southwestern Motorway (State Highway 20) in Onehunga from 10pm on Thursday (28 March) until 6am Tuesday (2 April).

At Waterview, Great North Road will be narrowed from two to one lane in each direction for essential works linked to the Waterview Connection tunnel project. The changed road layout will be in place from midnight on Thursday (28 March) until midnight on Easter Monday (1 April).

And traffic will be heavy around Greenlane across the weekend as Aucklanders flock to the Easter Show, at the ASB Showgrounds.

Across the weekend Auckland Transport will provide regular travel updates on twitter: @akltransport
