Use your Tuborg Sounds On ticket to ride to festival
Music fans going to the Tuborg Sounds On festival this Saturday (23 March) have public transport options to get them to the Oval at North Harbour Stadium.
Included with their festival ticket is travel on trains and special event buses. Plan your journey to the festival, visit www.at.co.nz or ring 09 3666 400. For event information visit www.soundson.net
Travel by train to Britomart:
Trains do not operate to Auckland's North Shore. Passengers are able to take a train to Britomart and connect with event buses at Lower Albert Street (stop 7071). Event travel on trains starts from 3 hours prior to the event, until end of service.
Travel on trains is included by presenting your Sounds On festival ticket.
Travel by bus to North Harbour Stadium:
Special event buses depart from the Civic bus stop on Queen Street (at the rear of stop 7055 between Mayoral Drive and Wellesley Street) and Albert Street (stop 7071) around every 15 minutes between 11am and 3pm. Buses will stop at all stations along the Northern Busway.
Return buses operate between 9pm and 11.30pm running as required via all Northern Busway stations to the city centre.
Those using special event buses must show their Sounds On festival ticket.

Help clean up Takapuna and Milford beach before the festival
Festival goers and the wider public are invited to join a pre-concert beach clean-up of Takapuna and Milford beach on the morning of the festival, Saturday 23 March.
The festival’s original charity partner, Sustainable Coastlines, is carrying out the cleanup, which will ensure that not only is Tuborg Sounds On a great sustainable event, but that it contributes towards making a difference.
A cleanup bus leaves stop number 7055, (The Civic, Queen St) at 10am and stop number 7171 (1 Lower Albert St) and hits Takapuna Beach at 10.30am before Milford Beach at 11.15am. Festival-goers can simply catch this bus with a Tuborg Sounds On ticket (at no extra cost) or meet at the beach (public welcome to attend). The clean-up bus will be arriving at Sounds On at approximately 12:15pm.
