Tuakau and Districts Community Plan Finalised
The Tuakau and Districts Community Committee has finalised its Community Plan, which outlines the Tuakau area’s visions and aspirations as expressed by its residents.
The plan is the result of a process of community consultation that took place in 2012 which included a series of ‘ideas days followed by feedback and submissions. The result is a living document which will form a part of the council’s programme of work in the Tuakau area.
The Tuakau and Districts Community Committee would like to thank all those who contributed to forming the plan, and look forward to seeing the ideas contained within the plan put into action.
The Tuakau and Districts Community Plan is available to view online (put link here) or at the Pukekohe Library, Waiuku Library, Tuakau Library, the council’s Tuakau Office, Port Waikato Wharf Store, Glen Murray Garage, Onewhero Area School or the Nikau Cave Café.
