Stratford Mayoral Bike Challenge
This year’s Mayoral Challenge is scheduled for Friday 1 March from 4.00 pm – 6.30 pm.
The event is held as part of the national Bike Wise month held throughout February, encouraging everyone to give cycling a go. It is a great opportunity for local communities and families to enjoy and celebrate cycling with community leaders.
The Mayoral Bike Challenge begins at the skate park at Victoria Park, 4.00 pm for judging of the best dressed bike and helmet.
Led by Mayor Neil Volzke the ride will leave at 4.30 pm. The ride will take in Stratford’s south east. At the conclusion of the ride there will be a BMX demonstration and heaps of giveaways for all who complete the ride.
Helmets are a legal requirement for riding a bike, so please remember to bring your helmet to this event, as you will not be able to participate without one. Also wear the appropriate safety gear and clothing.
Come and join the Stratford District Council’s Mayoral Bike Challenge!
