PRINTMAKING
WORKSHOP
Discover the power of printing
multiple images as variations of an idea in print form, with
special focus this weekend on how paper can affect colour,
image and text. Create and develop a series of printing
plates made from a few simple materials such as cardboard,
glue and textures. Experiment with ink application and print
on to a variety of different sourced papers eg. traditional
printmaking paper, coloured tissue, photocopies of image and
text, recycled book pages, food recipes, music scores etc.
Suitable for all levels.

Following on from
Andreas Lepper’s outrageously successful workshops in
2012, HVCA offers another block of drumming workshops in
Taita and Petone for adults. Over six sessions Andreas will
teach a range of drumming styles including Salsa and Samba.
He brings a wide range of instruments with something for
everyone. Make sure you come along ready to get involved,
by the end of it you’ll be a rhythm maestro!
