“The Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event is fun for the whole family, it encourages children aged 7-15 years to achieve a personal best and the atmosphere and crowd on the day is very exciting for everyone involved” says Mr van Heerden.

Over the past 21 years more than 240,000 New Zealand children have taken part in a Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon including New Zealand sporting heroes, Alison Shanks, Andrea Hewitt and Sarah Walker.
Kiwi kids can enter the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon as individuals, or in a team of two or three. The Christchurch event has a limited number of places available, so schools and individuals who want to be involved should get in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
