Marae launches new website
BAY OF PLENTY
An Eastern Bay of Plenty marae is looking forward to connecting with the future with the launch of a new website.
Tuariki Marae has invested money and time into creating a new web platform for members and whanau through out New Zealand to connect back to their marae.
The website enables live streaming of hui or wananga at the marae and also providing the latest news and information.
Chairwomen of Tuariki Marae comitee Mary Hepi says its a step forward for our marae.
"To be able to connect with whanau world wide and to be able to bring their marae to them is just incredible." She says.
The new Tuariki Marae website was launched on the 9th of January 2013.
