Shop at our Victorian Market, take the kids to meet Santa, vote for your favourite Christmas tradition, explore the galleries with our Christmas characters, then relax with a mulled wine and get set for the season with beautiful carols from Auckland choirs.

Thousands of kids have already enjoyed the new interactive experiences in the Weird and Wonderful gallery. Open every day except Christmas day, there is plenty of time to come along these school holidays and explore the hands-on wonder of the natural world. Touching definitely allowed!

SPACE IN TIME WITH EINSTEIN

Get hands on with the kids and try some simple experiments in our Weird and Wonderful gallery. Learn how to cast your own rainbow and then blow up a balloon with fizzy drink and salt. All science enthusiasts welcome!
