Santa's nice list fills with Botany kids

ARE YOU NAUGHTY OR NICE?
SANTA SETS UP AT BOTANY TOWN CENTRE TO
REWARD GOOD DEEDS
This holiday season, Botany Town Centre gave local children the opportunity to get on Santa’s ‘nice list’ to spread good cheer and receive an invite to a V.I.C (Very Important Child) party.
From 24 November, children who were photographed with Santa at his Grotto received an evaluation card and were asked to perform five good deeds to earn a place at the V.I.C party. The good deeds could be small or large, from doing the dishes, washing the car or volunteering at a charity. Once each of the five deeds was signed off by a parent or guardian, the form needed to be returned to the Botany Town Centre information desk by 9 December 2012.
The first 150 benevolent children to return the form at the Whitcoulls Kids Zone received an invite to the most exclusive party of the season – the V.I.C party. Held in the Conservatory near Santa’s Grotto on Saturday 15 December at 8.00am, the V.I.C party will reward the nice list children with an exclusive party.
Desiree Clark, senior marketing manager at Botany Town Centre is feeling the Christmas spirit, “We love celebrating Christmas at Botany Town Centre and this year’s nice list initiative is great way to remind children that Christmas is not just about presents, but also about giving back. It should also help parents get a few extra jobs done around the house!
There is something for everyone at Botany this Christmas and all year we look forward to seeing the community take part in the festivities.”
