Te Puke Player Hits the Jackpot With Bullseye

Media Release 15 November 2012

Te Puke Player Hits the Jackpot With Bullseye ‘Must Be Won’ Draw

One lucky Bullseye winner has hit the jackpot after winning $410,000 with Bullseye, after the game’s ‘Must Be Won’ draw, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Wayne Pickup.

“Thanks to the must be won rules, this lucky winner increased their prize from $10,000 to $400,000,” said Mr Pickup.

In a ‘Must Be Won’ draw, if First Division is not won, the prize is added to the next highest division where there are winners – in this case, there was no First Division winner and therefore the jackpot rolled down to Second Division, where there was just one winner.

Their winning ticket was sold at Allen United Video and Lotto Te Puke.

“This prize will have come just at the right time for this winner – with Christmas just around the corner, they will be able to treat themselves quite a bit more this year,” says Mr Pickup.

Bullseye is NZ Lotteries’ daily jackpotting game which gives players a chance to win up to $100,000 every day by simply picking a six-digit number between 000,000 and 999,999 – if their number exactly matches the winning number, they’ve hit the Bullseye. The jackpot can reach a maximum of $400,000 before a must be won draw is called.

“Anyone who bought their ticket from this store should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries’ outlet or online at MyLotto," Mr Pickup added.
