Calling Out for a Hero - Heritage Everyday Hero Competition – for Immediate Release 16 October

Heritage Hotel Management launched an exciting competition today to find and reward 20 local unsung heroes. For the next six weeks anyone can nominate a friend, colleague, neighbour or work mate, who quietly goes about doing good in their local community.

There are 20 prizes to be won consisting of 20 Heritage Escape vouchers, each valued at $1,600 for the winners to get away to their choice of hotel from the Heritage Hotels, CityLife Hotels and Heritage Boutique Collection.

“We know there are some amazing people out there taking on extra responsibilities for charities, schools and community services without expecting anything in return. As a hotel chain unique to New Zealand, we wished to celebrate these special Kiwis and give them a well deserved break,” says Tony Howlett general manager – sales and marketing of Heritage Hotel Management.

To nominate a Heritage Everyday Hero go to the new look, easy to use Heritage Hotels website www.heritagehotels.co.nz/heroes and complete the on-line nomination form stating what makes that person so special. Winners will be announced weekly. The competition ends 30 November.
