13 Proves Lucky For One MyLotto Player From Invercargill
It may be the 13th tonight, but it has proved to be good luck for a MyLotto player from Invercargill who has won $1 million with Lotto First Division this evening, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Wayne Pickup.
“Lotto has been won for the second week in a row, but Powerball has jackpotted to a life-changing $10 million, and Strike has jumped up to $1 million, which means there’ll be a massive $12 million up for grabs next week,” says Mr Pickup.
Meanwhile, Brenda from Napier won $200,000 on the Winning Wheel at the live draw in Wellington this evening.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was bought at Relay Rotorua International Airport, Te Ngae, Rotorua, and the serial number was 602-50676250-20XX.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
“In 1987, NZ Lotteries was established to raise funds for community benefit and that remains our core purpose today. Over the past 25 years, we are proud to have transferred more than $3 billion to the NZ Lottery Grants Board – these funds have been used to support local community, sporting, arts, recreation, heritage, culture and environment groups throughout New Zealand,” says Mr Pickup
