Exclusive Interview with Anna Guy Tonight on '60 Minutes'
Anna Guy speaks in an
exclusive television interview broadcast this Sunday
(September 30) on 60 Minutes, 7.30pm on TV3.
Anna Guy talks frankly to 60 Minutes’ Sarah Hall about her brother’s murder, the arrest and trial of husband Ewen Macdonald, the ‘heartbreaking’ impact on her extended family, and her life now.
In Sunday’s programme, Anna also discusses her ten-year marriage - what the reality was behind the idyllic relationship portrayed by Macdonald’s lawyers during the trial – and addresses the rumours about her current personal life.
Going on the stand to testify at Macdonald’s murder trial was, she says “probably the worst thing I have ever had to do in my life.”
Anna says her children are the centre of her life, and that focussing on their wellbeing has helped her make tough decisions: “At the end of the day, they are my first priority.”
And, she tells 60 Minutes: “I just want to move forward... and look to the future now”
The interview comes after Ewen Macdonald’s conviction on charges of damage and arson, and his sentencing to five years in prison.
Anna Guy tells all - 60 Minutes, 7.30pm Sunday on TV3.
