The Great Kiwi Quiz at Upper Hutt Central Library
Test your general knowledge at the library during Seniors Week.
UPPER HUTT, Wellington NZ, 14 SEP 2012—With age comes wisdom, as they say. Senior members of the community are invited to show off their general knowledge and competitive streak at The Great Kiwi Quiz. The event will take place in Upper Hutt Central Library’s Rotary Lounge on Monday 24 September at 2.00 pm as part of this year’s Seniors Week. Quizmaster, Mayor Wayne Guppy, will lead teams through a series of categories including history, sport, arts, and music.
The afternoon is sure to be entertaining, according to Library Manager, Debbie Duncan, “With spot prizes to be won throughout the afternoon, and a grand prize valued at $120 for the winning team, it will be well worth getting your friends together and entering!”
Teams can register up to five players, with registrations required by 10.00 am, Friday 21 September. Individuals are also welcome to come and join a team on the day – or take on the room solo!
