Statement from the family of Bryce Jourdain
The following can be attributed to Bryce's wife Robyn Jourdain:
'We are overwhelmed by the support we continue to receive from the wider Taranaki community and the staff at TOPEC.
While we still want Bryce's body home so we can give him his final resting place, we hugely appreciate the rescue efforts of all involved in the search. We know they have exhausted every possible resource available in the past three weeks.
We are now turning our minds to organising a memorial service to celebrate Bryce's life. We have not yet confirmed any date or venue for this at this time.
Again, we cannot thank you all enough for the incredible support you continue to give us at this difficult time.'
