Wairarapa Police investigating theft of distinctive motorcross bike
Wairarapa Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning in Carterton, where a distinctive motorcross bike was stolen.
Detective Sergeant Tracey Calder of the Wairarapa Police says between 2am and 4am yesterday morning, a shed at a property in Brooklyn Road was entered.
"The offenders have then walked the bike from the property through a neighbouring paddock. The motorcycle is a 2005 Service Honda CR500 dirt bike, valued at over $11,000."
Detective Sergeant Calder says Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen anyone suspicious in the vicinity of Brooklyn Road, Carterton in the early hours of yesterday morning.
