2012 Pukaha Mount Bruce Garden Tour announced.
We are delighted to announce that we are again mounting a Wairarapa Garden Tour (self-drive) as a fundraiser for Pukaha
Mount Bruce.
The Garden Tour will be held over two days this year - Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th November. The ticket price will be $40.00 and covers both days.
There will be around 15 beautiful gardens available from Greytown in the south Wairarapa to just north of Masterton for
you to explore over the two days. We are very excited about the gardens we will have available and we are indebted to
the generous owners who have opened their gardens for our fundraiser.
The gardens range from recently created gardens - often from paddocks to gorgeous gardens within just the last few years
- through to grand gardens that have been established for sixty or more years.
There will be refreshments available at certain gardens. Or if you prefer to bring your own picnic, a number of the
gardens will be happy to have guests picnic on their grounds. There will also be a number of vouchers and discounts
available at local cafes and restaurants with garden tour tickets.
Soon we will begin to profile the gardens that will be included in the tour and we'll provide information about
ticketing arrangements.
For those who don't live in the Wairarapa, why not make a weekend of it and stay over and enjoy both days visiting the
gardens at your leisure. There will be some great deals available if you are coming from out of town and want to make a
weekend of it.
All proceeds go directly to the forest wildlife restoration project - which is all about keeping the wildlife at Pukaha
safe from predators.
