Whales in Milford
Our loving, good, magnificent, endangered friends the whales glided to Milford Beach, Auckland, and gave spectacular displays to the delight of the whale-watchers and on-lookers.
“A whale was calving as the five metre calf rested beside her/his mother in the cool blue waters, as the was sun dancing away,” said Alton Shameem JP, president of Fiji Club New Zealand (FCNZ).
The whales edged to the rocks to scrub themselves, as the onlookers held their breath thinking that they may get stranded, Mr. Shameem said.
