MEDIA RELEASE FROM THE INVERCARGILL POLICE
Today Invercargill Police have arrested and charged a 55 year old Invercargill man with 24 theft and fraud charges relating to military medals belonging to New Zealand Returned Servicemen and their families.
The Police enquiry was initiated by a TVNZ Fair Go program that aired in May.
He was bailed to appear in the Invercargill District Court on Friday the 24th of August 2012.
