Unique charity promotion to launch Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup Week
Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup Week, an integral part of New Zealand Cup and Show Week, is being launched with a
unique campaign that has three cars up for grabs, and will also see a portion of the proceeds going to Ronald McDonald
House South Island.
The “Pin and Win” campaign is supported by the Christchurch Casino, New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club and the
Canterbury Jockey Club. Punters simply purchase a 2012 Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup pin for $5.00 to enter
themselves in the draw to win one of three Ford Fiesta cars.
A portion of the sale from each pin will go to Ronald McDonald House South Island (RMHSI), which provides free
accommodation and support to families while their child receives hospital care.
“This is an exciting promotion that really highlights Canterbury’s big week whilst helping a local charity at the same
time,” says Christchurch Casino chief executive Brett Anderson.
A 1.6L Ford Fiesta worth $25,880 must be won by someone in the final draw at each of the following venues:

The ‘Pin and Win’ promotion will be officially launched at Ronald McDonald House South Island on Tuesday, August 21 at
10am. The three branded Ford Fiesta vehicles will be onsite at the House for photographs, and media are invited to
