Police are investigating an assault of a 21 year old female who was attacked by an unknown man on the corner of Fenchurch Street and Tuckers Road at about 6:20pm on Friday evening (10/08/2012).
The female was walking to her Casebrook home address when she was grabbed by the man and wrestled to ground. The female was able to break free, run home and phone Police.
Detective Dion Murray of the Papanui Police said, 'the man is described as Maori, in his late teens or early twenties, about 6 feet tall (183cm), fat build with acne scars on his cheeks. He rode off along Tuckers Road on a mountain style bicycle."
