A Celebration of Animals… Returns to Auckland!
Pets are playing an important role in our lives more than ever—providing joy, companionship and protection.
The annual Auckland Pet & Animal Expo is the happiest show of them all, celebrating how great pets are, from the small to the large, under one-roof.
This year’s show happening over the weekend of 25-26 August 2012 at the North Shore Events Centre, has something for everyone and is a must visit.
“Animals are intelligent in their own special ways and can amaze us with their intellect, at this year’s expo we are lucky enough to have Mark Vette, from Animals on Q on stage twice daily showing us how all sorts of animals can be trained to perform tricks and amaze us” says Co-Organiser Brian Peters
“The highlight will be performances from the Genesis Energy Pukekos, who we all know from the TV commercials” says Brian.
Other animals on stage will be Pumpkin the Painting Pig, Casper the Cockatoo and more…
Mark is also an animal behaviourist and will be answering questions at the conclusion of each performance.
During these tuff economic times the expo will be the best place to make significant savings and gain some free samples, as we all know our pets require constant nurturing and looking after. The best pet foods for both dogs and cats can be brought at show-only specials during this year’s pet expo.
If pet owners have any questions or concerns, this is also the best place to be educated and gain advice from the experts.
Dogs, Cats, Birds and even Rats all have their own individual personalities and all their owners or those interested in owning any of these pets can benefit from attending.
“The Pet & Animal Expo is designed to be a celebration of pets and animals and the positive role they play in society, if we can promote this and even get the media involved to showpiece the benefits of pets, then the expo is doing its job” says Brian, who will be launching National Pet Week next year which will include a number of activities, culminating with the Auckland Pet & Animal Expo!
