Missing Person Located
Missing 43 yr old Rachel Louise Reaney of Wanaka, has been found at 2:30 pm today alive and well.
Sergeant Nicholson of the Wanaka Police expressed concerns for her safety after she went missing at 10:30 am yesterday. Police and LandSAR teams had been out last night and today searching for Mrs Reaney.
Her vehicle was found near a walking track in Albert Town near the Cardrona River this afternoon. Search teams arrived on site and found Mrs Reaney walking on the track towards them. She appeared uninjured but was taken to the medical centre by Police for a check up.
Sergeant Nicholson said "Mrs Reaney had intentionally spent the night out and was dealing with some personal issues. We are very please to have found her uninjured and that she will be reunited with her family."
