Bayfair Shoppers Go For Gold
In conjunction with Sport Bay of Plenty, the Samsung Experience Truck will pull in to Bayfair Shopping Centre on Sunday 22 July. The Samsung Experience Truck will give visitors a unique look at the history of New Zealand’s participation in the Olympic Games.
Between 9.00am and 4.00pm the 18 metre truck will be positioned at the shopping centre’s front car park. The mobile museum experience will give shoppers and sports fans an opportunity to learn about their favourite Kiwi athletes and discover New Zealand’s proud Olympic history. The full Olympic experience takes approximately 20 minutes and is a great activity to get children excited about the history of the Olympics. Perhaps an Olympic dream will be born, too.
The truck features digital interactive technology and uses the latest Samsung equipment to get visitors involved in the exciting lead-up to the London 2012 Olympics. Visitors can even experience their own Olympic dream by adorning themselves with a replica gold medal or running with an Olympic torch to the sound of a cheering crowd.
