10 Million Reasons to Celebrate For Napier Powerball Winner
A Lotto Powerball player in Napier has over 10 million reasons to celebrate this weekend after winning $10.3 million tonight with Lotto Powerball First Division, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Wayne Pickup.
“Powerball has had an amazing run of winners in 2012. Since Trevor in Te Kauwhata won $26 million in late March, we’ve also had a $5.5 million winner in Christchurch and a $5.3 million winner from Balclutha,” says Mr Pickup.
This week’s winning Lotto Powerball ticket was sold at Napier City Pak’n’Save. The prize is made up of $333,333 from Lotto First Division, and $10,047,028 from Powerball First Division.
There were two other Lotto winners tonight, also winning a $333,333 share of Lotto First Division. The tickets were sold at Countdown Westgate in Auckland and New World Whanganui in Whanganui.
Strike Four was not struck this week and has jackpotted to a massive $500,000.
Meanwhile, a taxi driver from Auckland spun and won a $100,000 Credit Card for one of their customers on the Winning Wheel at the live draw in Wellington.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was bought at Book Clearance in Onehunga, Auckland. The winning serial number is 474-24877569-20XX.
Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
