Motorway Blocked

As a result of a car catching fire in a northbound lane of the Southern Motorway approximately 1 km south of the Mt Wellington off ramp, the north bound lanes of the motorway are completely closed.

Diversions are in place with north bound traffic exiting the motorway at Princess Street in Otahuhu and entering the motorway at Mt Wellington.

Motorists in the areas can expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes where ever possible.
