Wellington Set to Inspire

Wellington Set to Inspire

Wellington will become a super charged think tank on 29 May at a World Class New Zealand forum organised by Grow Wellington.

New Zealand’s top business thinkers and global leaders will collaborate with Wellington’s innovative and entrepreneurial business community to develop a pathway for creating global businesses from the Wellington region.

The World Class New Zealand 2012 Inspire Day, jointly hosted by Grow Wellington, KEA and partners, will be a day of inspiration and action. KEA World Class New Zealanders speaking at the forum include; Sir Stephen Tindall, founder and director of The Warehouse Group Limited and the Hon. Peter S. Watson, president and CEO of Washington-based financial consultancy The Dwight Group.

“Wellington is fast becoming the entrepreneurial capital of the world and this World Class New Zealand day is another step in that direction,” said Mary-Anne Webber, General Manager Business Growth, Grow Wellington.

World Class NZ Director Stephen Dee said, “the day is a unique opportunity to hear from some of New Zealand’s greatest success stories, learn about future trends that will affect NZ businesses here and internationally, and secrets to being a World Class New Zealander.”

The focus for the second part of the day – Inspire Plus, will be on ‘Building stellar global companies from Wellington’.  World Class New Zealanders and Wellington business leaders will be collaborating to identify opportunities for businesses, KEA and Wellington's innovation community to action.
