Egmont Refuse And Recycling Celebrates Opening of Rcn E-Cycle Site with Official Ribbon Cutting

Hawera RCN e-Cycle drop off site managed by Egmont Refuse and Recycling, celebrates opening with a Ribbon Cutting

Hawera, NZ (27 April 2012) – Egmont Refuse and Recycling celebrated the opening of their new RCN e-Cycle site Monday with an official ribbon cutting. Council members from New Plymouth, South Taranaki and Taranaki Regional Council along with other dignitaries were present to celebrate and take part in the festivities.

Hawera is one of three sites to open in the Taranaki region. The service will also be offered in New Plymouth and Stratford. All three District Councils, New Plymouth, South Taranaki and Taranaki Regional, will subsidise the sites so that computer monitors and TV's can be recycled for $10 and $15 respectively.

The e-waste collection in Stratford will be provided by Egmont Refuse and Recycling on the first Saturday of each month. Customers can drop their electronics next to the Council chambers.
