NZ Beer Festival, 31 March 2012
FOR YOUR INFORMATION, SOME DETAILS ON THE NZ BEER FESTIVAL THIS SATURDAY......
It’s here!
Hell Presents The New Zealand Beer Festival this weekend!
Each year the good guys at the NZ Beer Festival send a
survival guide, so here it is for 2012. Tweet, Like or Forward this guide to a friend.
Tickets
VIP tickets are now SOLD OUT, with less than 500 General Admission tickets make sure your mates buy theirs TODAY.
Venue
This year we're at The Cloud on Queens Wharf, an awesome space which is perfect for the festival. We're using the whole end of the wharf inside and out, with the stage out by the water.
Travel
With the event in the middle of town, check out http://www.maxx.co.nz for public transport details, there's no need to drive so be safe and jump on a bus/train/ferry.
Weather
WeatherWatch.co.nz head weather analyst Philip Duncan said yesterday a big high was drifting toward New Zealand and that meant only one thing - "some stunning autumn weather is on the way".
Times
The festival starts at 12.30pm, I didn't proof read the GrabOne tickets properly this year so they say 12pm, whoops! Bars close at 8.30pm.
Music lineup:
3.00 - 4.00 Funkommunity
4.00 - 4.30 Franko
4.30 - 5.00 Dean Campbell
5.00 - 6.00 The Feelers
6.00 - 7.00 Peter Urlich
7.00 - 8.00 Thane Kirby and Sam Hill
Cash
Bring cash with you to speed things up, there'll be a bunch of ATMs available inside the festival.
Age Restriction
I have a lot of people asking if they can bring children, while the festival is a great atmosphere Police strictly enforce the R18 age restriction. Time to rope in the grandparents for babysitting duties.
Fun Stuff
You may have seen that our Comedy area is pretty strong this year so do check that out. There's even a Kissing Booth run by a few hot chicks fundraising to run the New York Marathon!
Enjoy Yourself, See You There!
That's about all I can think of, Dave and I will be down at the venue setting up for the rest of the week, look forward to putting the festival on so you can expand your palate and try one of the 70+ beers on offer.
