Luck of the Irish for Two Lotto Winners
Luck of the Irish for Two Lotto Winners
Two Lotto winners will be dancing an Irish jig around the country when they realise they’ve won an awesome half a million dollars each with Lotto First Division tonight, says NZ Lotteries’ Acting Chief Executive, Warren Salisbury.
“What a great way to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, there’ll be corks flying everywhere!” says Mr Salisbury.
The winning Lotto First Division tickets were sold at Take Note Waikanae and Otatara Four Square in Invercargill.
Lotto Powerball jackpotted, meaning it will be worth an estimated $22 million next week.
“With Powerball jackpotting, next week’s prize will be one of the top prizes on offer in NZ Lotteries’ history – and if it’s won by a single ticket, it’ll be the fourth-biggest prize ever won,” adds Mr Salisbury.
Strike Four was not struck and jackpots to an estimated $500,000 next week.
Meanwhile, Christine and Brian from Wellington spun Lotto’s Winning Wheel and won $250,000 at the live draw in the capital this evening.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was bought at Dawson Superette, Clover Park, Manukau. The winning serial number is 392-16447491-20XX.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.
Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
