Auckland Stopover: Preview for Friday 9 March

Auckland Stopover: Preview for Friday 9 March

Race tracker
The boats are getting closer! The ETA for the first yacht into Auckland is currently Saturday evening and from tonight Race fans will be to follow the boats in real time as the tracker goes live at 10pm (Thursday).

The tracker normally updates every three hours but as the action hits its climax with the leading boats just 500 nautical miles from the finish line in Auckland, the updates will come through every 60 seconds.

The first boat’s estimated arrival into Auckland is currently 8pm on Saturday, so fans will be able to watch two days of action unfold on the tracker.

Will Groupama hold off Telefónica’s advances? Can PUMA regain second place? Will CAMPER make it onto the podium? Find out by switching to the live tracker.

Launch the race tracker here on http://www.volvooceanrace.com/en/racetracker/rdc.html and click on the LIVE button in the top left to get the 60-second updates.
