Catwalk on the Street - The Fashion Show that Stops Traffic.

NZ’s fashion capital Newmarket , is staging one HUGE day of fashion with its free to the public “in-store now” winter collections on Saturday 24th March 2012.

Showtimes: 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3:30pm

This is the second year of this hip and surprising event on Osborne St where we literally stop traffic with a long catwalk down the middle of the road, where our glamorous professional models strutt their stuff to the latest sounds from the Northern Hemisphere collections, mixing it up with fashion from over 30 Newmarket Designers and fashion retailers.

Wrapping up The Next Face of Newmarket .
Over the last 2 -3 months there has been an exciting competition running in Newmarket and on FB. The search for the Next face of Newmarket . The search was a social media triumph for the NBA, resulting in a 500% rise in FB activity in 3 months. More than a marketing exercise the 20 young hopefuls have been trained, groomed, photographed and taught to walk catwalk style. The final challenge for them is walking in each of the 4 fashion shows on Catwalk on the Street Day, Saturday 24th March. The winner will be announced at 2:30pm on Osborne Street .
