Fashion in the BIG little City brought to you by Resene- More reason to indulge in the colourful New Zealand Fashion Festival

The inaugural Fashion in the BIG little City event on Saturday March 3 will be celebrating the very best in fashion glamour, creativity and public shows, as part of the third annual New Zealand Fashion Festival, taking place in the BIG little City from Feb 24 – Mar 4.

Complementing an array of ticketed catwalk shows, fashion seminars and a designer garage sale produced by New Zealand Fashion Festival for general public attendance, Fashion in the BIG little City is a day designed to encourage shoppers to put their best threads on and head into the city. Take advantage of great offers and in-store activities from the city’s fashion retailers, attend FREE on-the street fashion shows and be in to win big for the sake of fashion.

Up for grabs on the day is one of four $1,000 shopping sprees for being the best dressed – man, woman, casual and child. To be in the running, shoppers must be captured by a roaming photographer and judged by an experienced fashion panel, with winner announcements taking place at a fashion show and awards event at the end of the day in the Atrium in Britomart.

In addition, a covetable prize of a $10,000 Ultimate Fashion Weekend for two in the BIG little City can be swooped simply by attending Fashion in the BIG little City on Saturday March 3, picking up an entry form in a participating store, and receiving a stamp from four different locations on the day before placing it in an entry box for the draw.

Alex Swney, CEO Heart of the City, says, “New Zealand designers long ago made their mark on the global fashion stage, it is only natural that BIG little City as a key fashion destination joins with New Zealand Fashion Festival in celebrating this talent and our extraordinary breadth of retailers by activating the central city with a week of shows, events, and retail offers.”

• Two nights in a luxury suite in a 5 star boutique hotel in the centre of the fashion district

• Dinner and lunch at two of the city’s most celebrated and loved restaurants

• Hair styling and treatment at a top city salon

• An indulgent spa treatment package

• And either

o Your own fashion party at a cool city venue if you’re an Aucklander

o OR if you are from out of town, flights and transfers to get you to & from the BIG little City.
