Creative Communities Funding to Open


Palmerston North City Council would like to advise that the Creative Communities New Zealand Local Arts Funding Scheme will be accepting applications from Monday 5 March 2012.

The scheme is for arts groups and individuals seeking funding for arts related projects.

Previous applications have attracted a wide variety of recipients including art classes, multimedia projects, dance events and exhibitions. All applications will be considered.

The Funding Scheme aims to support and encourage local people to create opportunities for the community to participate in arts related activities. Applications can be made for amounts of up to $5000 and is administered by the Palmerston North City Council.

Applications will be available from PNCC Customer Service Centre, city libraries, or on the Council website at www.pncc.govt.nz. Or you can ring the Council on 06 356 8199.

Applications close on Monday 16th April at 4pm.
