The Life Flight Trust transports a Patient from
Riversdale from a Motorbike accident
At 1500 this Afternoon the Life Flight Trust responded to Riversdale in the Wairarapa to a 40 yr old male from Masterton.
Life Flight responded with two Wellington Free Paramedics on board the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
The Helicopter was able to land on the beach next to the patient.
The patient who had been riding his motorbike on the beach when he crashed. The patient was being treated by a off duty Emergency Department Nurse
The Patient was treated by the Wellington Free Paramedics at the scene.
The Patient was suffering from shoulder injures and burns to his chest also possible neck injuries.
The patient was flown to Wellington Hospital Emergency Department where he is being treated for his injuries.
The Life Flight Trust is a charity
providing air rescue and air ambulance services. It operates
the Wellington based Westpac Rescue Helicopter and a
national air ambulance service. It relies on support from
