Say No to Fossil Fools Panel Discussion
West Coast Environment Network Inc, Greenpeace NZ, Forest and Bird and Coal Action Network Aotearoa have organised a public meeting which brings four big resource extraction issues together.
At a time when the Government is opening New Zealand up to form of fossil fuel extraction it can think of, these four speakers will show the folly of the Government's plans and the severe environmental consequences that would result if they are allowed to go ahead.
The speakers are:
• Jeanette Fitzsimons (former Green MP, concerned grandmother) on Southland lignite
• Rod Morris (wildlife photographer) on the biodiversity rich conservation land of the proposed Denniston coal mine
