KidsCan Charitable Trust: Monster Car Helps Christchurch Kids!
A monster car is being auctioned on Trade me with all proceeds going to children's charity KidsCan.
MotorWeb had the car built to raise awareness of the need to get a history check before you buy a used car. For the past few years the Monster Car has raised a lot of eyebrows for those living in Auckland, particularly kids!
“We asked our customer’s what we should do with our monster car and the majority said ‘give it to Christchurch’. With most of us here having young kids we have always had a soft spot for kids charities so we sought a kids charity which is active in Christchurch and came across KidsCan.” Chris Knight, MD, MotorWeb
Founded in 2005, KidsCan is a national charity dedicated to meeting the physical and nutritional needs of disadvantaged NZ children to enable them to be more engaged in their education and reach their full potential in life.
KidsCan CEO Julie Helson said “We are delighted to be the recipient charity for this unique auction – our partner schools in Christchurch have been hit hard over the last year so the timing couldn’t be better to further assist them”.
The auction runs until the 24th October.
Search for ‘’Monster car’’ on Trade me to see the auction.
