• Crowds
using trains and special event buses from the England v
France match were cleared within 55 minutes, 15 minutes
earlier than the target of 70 minutes.

Transport to and from the match at Eden Park ran smoothly.
Transport in and out of Auckland CBD also ran well
throughout the day, as people headed to Diwali in Aotea
Square and Fanzones on the waterfront.
• Roads
in the area experienced moderate traffic for a major event
at Eden Park and flowed well. All roads in the area were
reopened within 69 minutes.
• A total of
22,290, 45% of the crowd, used public transport after the
match at Eden Park. Special event buses carried 9,280 and
13,010 used trains after the match.

All crowds using trains and special event buses were cleared
within 55 minutes of the match finishing.
•
About 2000 used taxis and 2,925 used coaches.

patrons used parts of the Fan Trail to leave the game

arrests
