Vodafone brings the new Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 to New Zealand

Android fans can now get their fix on a 10.1’ screen, with the new Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 available exclusively on the Vodafone network.

As the world’s thinnest 10.1’mobile tablet which runs on the popular Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) platform, the Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 is available now from Vodafone retail stores and in the online shop.

Vodafone Director of Sales Grant Hopkins says the Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 is a great choice for people on the move.

“The SAMSUNG Tab 10.1 fits perfectly into our line-up. Today business people and consumers alike want access to email, apps and browse the web quickly and conveniently.. Running on Vodafone’s extended 3G network, the Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 gives reliable, fast broadband speeds to 97% of where New Zealanders live, work and play”.

Hopkins says the device’s features have been designed to meet the needs of IT managers and users alike.

“Developed in collaboration with industry-leading partners such as Cisco, Sybase, SAP and Citrix, Samsungs enterprise mobility solutions running over Vodafone’s smart network will provide flexibility, security and connectivity for mobile workforces, ensuring that users can operate more efficiently on-the-move”

“The Tab weighs only 565g, which together with surround-sound stereo speakers and support for Flash 10.2, makes it perfect for sharing content with family and friends, watching movies and playing games.”

The Samsung Tab 10.1 is available now for $899 on a 12 month Broadband Regular Plus plan ($49.95 month for 2GB) from the Vodafone online shop or in any Vodafone retail store nationwide.
